With the support of our partner and tap manufacturer BASS GmbH, we tailor this already proven solution in the machining industry, to our in-die tapping solution.
This lubrication solution has some advantages:
• Reduce of the lubricant consumption.
• Continuous coolant and lubricating film between the tap and the side of the extrusion.
• Less lubricant means part less soiled. No need for cleaning.
• A good lubrication = Better performance.
• Increase of the tap lifetime by 60% compared to the external lubrication.EnregistrerEnregistrer
Compared to the external tap lubrication, the internal coolant lubrication provides a regular lubrication on the side of the extrusion. This is a key parameter when the extrusion height is: = 1,5 x taps’ Ø.
The radial outputs allows a good lubrication of the extrusion even in a deep drawing.
To use this lubrication way, we have developped a new lubrication unit : the Centrolub !
• 1 to 4 Pumps
• 3,7 litres oil tank
• Run with Solenoid valve
• Pump oil flow = 270mm³/min
• Required air flow: jusqu’à 75 Nl/min
• Maximum viscosity (at 40°C) = 200 mm²/s
• 5 meters armed hoses with quick coupling
To be used on tapping unit, each spindle has to be equipped with internal coolant pipe.
