Situated in Marignier (France), PRONIC started life in 1989 in the Arve Valley in the heart of the French Alps between Geneva, Annecy and Chamonix. The Arve Valley, also nicknamed ‘Little Germany’, brims over with technical competency particularly linked to different forms of metal working.
World Leader in tapping, PRONIC owes its reputation to experience acquired in the field over more than 30 years, with robust technologies approved by its clients. Its know-how is recognized throughout Europe and the world, in more than 40 countries. Its knowledge of the in-die tooling environment has thus allowed it to develop in-die insertion solutions.
Our tapping solutions are aimed principally at the automotive sector, but also the electrical sector and the building industry, for progressive dies, transfer dies, fine blanking dies, multi-slide press applications and stand-alone tapping machines.
To this day, more than 8500 tapping heads as well as 50 insertion heads have been installed across the world.
The tailor-made PRONIC solutions are adapted to the environment and constraints of its clients so as to achieve real economies in the production of semi-finished formed and drawn parts. In fact, the operations of tapping (from M0.6 to M45, 1 to 25 taps, in all directions) and insertion (bushing, spindle, ball joint, rivet, stud, pin...) are achieved in the tool during forming/drawing without intermediary logistical handling.
It is what we call “In-Die Automation” or the automation of additional operations in the die.
So, for any tapping or in-die insertion request, we will be capable of offering advice and technical support whatever the type of product, partner (stampers, tooling companies, design offices…) or country, either directly and/or via our network of agents and distributors.
